This is not a ranking of who has the ultimate highest ceiling nor is it a look solely at who's the best right now- we'll consider what they've shown already, the areas they figure to improve, and the context of where that fits for the Jazz. As we patiently wait for the Jazz's debut, in the meantime, it makes for a perfect time to take a peek at how this roster is positioned for the season ahead, along with what the expectations could be for each member of Utah's rotation for the 2024-25 year. In the days leading up to the next NBA season, we'll be looking across the Jazz depth chart to throw a few stat predictions out as to how the numbers will inevitably shake out in Utah. Today, we'll be looking at Collin Sexton, who enters his seventh-year pro for the 2024-25 NBA season and has the chance to build on a successful prior campaign in Salt Lake City.

Despite the trade rumors surrounding the Utah Jazz this summer, no exchanges have been made up to this point. A name circulating in the rumor mill for quite some time now is Utah's most-tenured player, Jordan Clarkson. According to The Bleacher Report, Clarkson could be a target for the Denver Nuggets, but Michael Porter Jr. or Zeke Nnaji would need to be involved to facilitate an exchange.

Jayce Johnson is coming off a season where he played in the G League for the Santa Cruz Warriors and Motor City Cruise. He finished the regular season with averages of 10.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 57.0% from the field in 20 games (12 starts). On Wednesday, the Stockton Kings (G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings) announced that they acquired Johnson's rights in a trade with the Salt Lake City Stars (G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz). The trade buzz continues to encircle the Utah Jazz even as we get closer and closer to the beginning of the 2024-25 NBA season. The Jazz, while they've yet to strike on the trade market truly, have more than enough opportunity to make a big swing in a move to rope in another strong contributor into this already appealing core. As a result, many have already begun speculating as to who the Jazz could eventually target with a big move in the event this front office got more aggressive. Bleacher Report is the latest to enter their take on who Utah may be interested in, and it doesn't seem too far out of the realm of imagination.

Taking a swing at Collins felt like a good move at the time. Here was a player just two years removed from being a significant contributor on a team that made the Eastern Conference Finals. Also, his situation with the Atlanta Hawks felt similar to Lauri Markkanen's with the Cleveland Cavaliers before he reached All-Star status after arriving in Salt Lake City. Collins' first year in Utah was a mixed bag.

As a result of their blockbuster deals to ship off franchise cornerstones Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, the Jazz have stacked up numerous first-round picks that can help provide a major assist to their rebuild process-- mainly from the possession of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Cleveland Cavaliers.

It looks like there's set to be some more turnover on the Utah Jazz roster ahead of their 2024-25 season. According to Sportando, former Jazz forward Darius Bazley will be taking his talents overseas to China, as he's signed a one-year deal to join the Guangdong Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association. Bazley was a midseason addition for the Jazz during their 2023-24 campaign, appearing in the second half of the season for six games with Utah. In his time in a Jazz uniform, the former first-round pick averaged 8.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 23 minutes a night.
